At Back Creek, it's all about Jesus. So church can't just be another activity, it must be our identity. The church is not a logo, an event, a budget, or a building. It's us: a people on mission with God.

Back Creek Church is where we fully engage in what God made us for: worship, welcome, and witness.

We aim to be with and like Jesus in this mission, giving ourselves away for the sake of others. It's a privilege to serve, and we want to do it with JOY (which reminds us: Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last).

Deep Connection is the theme of Adult Ministry at Back Creek. We want adults of all ages to experience deep connection with God and with one another. We believe our faith, our service to Christ, and our care for others thrive in authentic community. Adult Ministry includes Life Groups, College & Young Adults Ministry, Women's Ministry, and Men's Ministry. 

God cares deeply about children, and we do too! At Back Creek, kids learn to trust Jesus and apply the real hope of the Gospel to their lives. They have opportunities to connect with caring adult leaders and one another in dynamic, fun, creative, educational, and relevant environments.

KIDS WORSHIP: (age 3 - 2nd grade) Sundays, during the message. Since children are part of the church, we believe they belong with the worshiping community. Children who have graduated from the nursery are welcome and encouraged to worship in "big church." If that means a little more noise or distraction during the service, it's a small price to pay for the life-giving presence of kids. Before the message, children 2nd grade and younger are dismissed (if their parents desire) to Kids Worship. 

SUNDAY FUNDAY: Kids Ministry events on Sunday nights. Youth and adults meet together in the Sanctuary at 4:30pm. Parents can branch off to go to Life Groups while the kids stay and enjoy crafts, fun, and teaching by age group!

Jesus calls us to GO and make disciples. At Back Creek, we love the nations and want to see all tribes, languages, nations, and people groups connected with the hope of the Gospel. We participate in missions by going (short-term), sending (through financial support), and praying. 

Some of the greatest things God has done in the history of the world have been through teenagers. Our hope is that students at Back Creek would develop a deep and maturing connection with God that will launch them into college, career, and adult life with a firm foundation. We don't want to merely graduate students, we want to commission them to go into their next mission field and make disciples of Jesus. ​

You can make a difference by signing up to help with teaching, direct discipleship, games, transportation or chaperoning for retreats, and more.

SUNDAY NIGHTS: All youth gather together for group teaching, fun, games, and fellowship at 4:30pm.

GROW GROUPS: Small, in-home discipleship groups from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Boys meet at the Stroup's home. Girls meet at the Bryant's home.

CAMPS & CONFERENCES: Horizon and Quest

At Back Creek Church, we believe that worship is the most important thing we will ever do. In gathered worship, we give to God all that we are through the praise and honor He deserves as our Creator and our Redeemer. Also, He meets us in worship and gives to us His grace through His Word (which we read, preach, pray, and sing), prayer, and the sacraments (Baptism and the Lord's Supper). We desire our worship services to be ancient in substance and accessible in style. 

We have various teams connected to our Worship Ministry; our Music Team, Audio/Video Team, Hand Bell Choir, Adult Choir along with teams that work on communion, welcoming guests, and other areas.
